• Swimming Star

  One of our Year 4 came home from a Swimming Competition in Braunstone with all these amazing medals.

   

  Butterfly, Freestyle, Backstroke and Breaststroke. He is an absolute Star! We are all very proud of you.

• Quicksticks Hockey

  On Wednesday 10th of April some of our Year 4, 5 and 6 children travelled to Melton Sports Village to take part in the Vale and Melton Quicksticks Hockey tournament.

   

  We had a great day winning all of our matches until the last game when both teams lost to Old Dalby. This meant both teams came second out of 12 schools.

   

  It was a great day and we are so proud of you all.

  

• Comic Relief

  On Friday March 15th the school turned red! Everyone arrived in something red and silly.

   

  Comic Relief came to Redmile!

   

  Thank you so much for your donations. We raised £96.30.

  

• Tag Rugby Tournament

  Wed 13 Mar 2019

  On Wednesday 13th March some of our Year 5 and 6 children attended a Tag Rugby Tournament at Belvoir High School.

   

  Nine primary schools from around the Vale of Belvoir took part. Winning three of our matches and losing one saw us coming 4th.

   

  It was a really enjoyable morning. Well done to everyone who took part.

  

• Handball Champions

  On Wednesday 16th of January some of our Year 4 children took part in the Melton and Vale Handball Tournament at Brooksby Melton College.

   

  It was a fantastic afternoon seeing Redmile soar to victory leaving Ab Kettleby, Sherard, Buckminster and Waltham in their wake.

   

  Well done to the Champions! We are all so proud of you.

  

• Harvest Festival

  Fri 12 Oct 2018

  On Friday 12th of October we celebrated Harvest in St. Peter's Church.

   

  After an introduction from our Year 6 children and a prayer from our RE MP’s we learned about Harvest from around the world.

   

  Class 1 told us the story of, ’Tiddilick the frog. We found out all about Harvest time in Italy from Class 2. We travelled to France with Class 3 where we took part in a Brazilian Festa Junina. Class 4 acted out the story of Chang’e and the Chinese Moon Festival.

   

  The blessing was given by Rev. David.

   

  Thank you so much to everyone who decorated and filled all the amazing boxes.

  

• Mini-Marathon

  One of our Year 4 boys took part in the Robin Hood Mini Marathon on Sunday 30thof September. Participants ran or walked the 2.5 km route following the River Trent.

   

  Well done! A well deserved medal!

  

• Kwik Cricket

  Thu 24 May 2018

  On Thursday May 24th some of our Year 5 and 6 children travelled to Melton Cricket Club to take part in a Kwik Cricket Tournament.

   

  11 teams from all over the Vale of Belvoir and Melton took part.

   

  All the children enjoyed the day!

  

• Rugby Tournament

  Fri 04 May 2018

  On Friday 4th May 2018 two of our Year 5 boys set off for Minehead in Somerset to take part in Rugby Tournament. They both play for Melton Mowbray Rugby Club.

   

  32 teams from all over the UK took part. Melton came 3rd.

   

  It was a great weekend. Very well done!
