  On Wednesday the 16th March some of our Year 4, 5 and 6 children took part in a hockey tournament at the Melton Sports Village, formerly King Edward V11 School.

   

  There were 13 schools taking part from Melton and The Vale of Belvoir. Our Year 5/6 team came second on goal difference and our Year 4 team came first beating the record for most goals.

   

  All the children had a really great time. They were treated to Mrs. Hopkins special cookies the next day.

  

• Chess Champion

  One of our Year 6 boys has won a pre-tournament chess competition in Thurmaston.

   

  We are very proud of him and wish him well for the main event later on in the year.
