“Teach children how they should live, and they will remember it all their lives.” (Proverbs 22:6)

Enabling children to flourish and succeed

Christmas at Redmile

November/December 2019

Christmas started at Redmile on 29th of November when some of Class 3 travelled to Melton. They visited St. Mary’s Church to see the magical display of Christmas trees. The children then climbed on to the stage in the market square to sing a selection of Christmas songs to shoppers and parents.

On Tuesday afternoon, December 10th, everyone went into the hall to make Christingles. The older children helped the younger ones. On Friday morning Canon Judith Wells joined us for a lovely Christingle service.

We had our Christmas dinner on Thursday. The staff served the children. Everyone pulled crackers while Christmas songs played.

On Monday December 16th our Key Stage 1 children presented, ’The Grumpy Innkeeper’, to parents and friends.

Wednesday saw us travelling to the Guildhall in Grantham to see the pantomime, ’Cinderella’.

Thursday morning, we had a games morning. In the afternoon we had our Christmas party in the hall and a very special visitor arrived with gifts for everyone! Thank you, Santa!

Our week ended with ‘Redmile’s got Talent.’ We have so many talented children the judges had a difficult job!

Merry Christmas from everyone at Redmile!
