“Teach children how they should live, and they will remember it all their lives.” (Proverbs 22:6)

Enabling children to flourish and succeed

PE and Sport Premium

The Government is providing funding of £150 million per annum to provide substantial primary school sport funding.

This funding is being jointly provided by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport, and will see money going directly to primary school Headteachers to spend on improving the quality of sport and PE for all their children. The sport funding can only be spent on sport and PE provision in schools.

The aim of this investment is to improve the lifestyles and overall health of the pupils in the school, giving them access to a wide curriculum that is engaging and motivational. Part of this commitment is to tackle obesity and other health related issues.
