On Friday 4th November some of our children were invited by the Hose and Harby branch of the Royal British Legion to take part in an Act of Remembrance in St. Peters Church Redmile.

The children read the biographies of two soldiers from Redmile who were killed in the First World War. The readings were followed by the laying of a cross for each soldier and a minutes silence and some prayers.

The children enjoyed talking to the gentlemen from the Royal British Legion and also the drinks and biscuits provided by Canon Wells. Thank you.
