A fantastic morning was had by this group at the RISE Gymnastics event. A really great event that not only helps to build fundamental movement skills for life, but also children’s’ confidence to stand up and perform in front of others. Each child performed two Vaults, a Core Skills routine, and a Small Apparatus routine where they had the choice of using a ribbon or a ball. The change in format was very well received by the children, bringing more creativity and enthusiasm to the event as well as to the lunchtime practices leading up to it. We were nominated Spirit of the Games winners on the day for an outstanding piece of sportsmanship. A huge well done to all involved and a big thank you to Little Springers Gymnastics, a huge reason why the children love this event, to Melton & Belvoir School Sport and Physical Activity Network and to all the parents that helped with transport.
