At Redmile CE Primary School, we believe that wearing a school uniform helps children feel part of our community and promotes a sense of belonging and pride in the school.

Branded uniform items featuring the school logo can be purchased online through My Clothing.

Parents and carers are welcome to buy non-branded items, such as trousers, skirts and white polo shirts, from retailers of their choice.

Branded Uniform

The following items are available with the school logo:

• Blue sweatshirt
• Blue cardigan
• Blue fleece

All branded items can be ordered online via My Clothing.

Standard School Uniform

Children should wear:

• Blue sweatshirt, cardigan or fleece
• White polo shirt, shirt or blouse
• Grey trousers or shorts
• Grey skirt or pinafore dress
• Blue and white gingham dress during warmer weather
• Sensible black shoes

PE Kit

Children should come to school with:

• Navy T-shirt 
• Black shorts, leggings or jogging bottoms
• Indoor plimsolls
• Outdoor trainers
• PE bag

Forest School Clothing

For Forest School sessions, children will need:

• Wellington boots or sturdy outdoor boots
• A complete change of clothes suitable for outdoor activities
• Spare socks
• Waterproof all-in-one suit or waterproof clothing

Swimming Kit

When swimming lessons take place, children should bring:

• A one-piece swimming costume or swimming trunks (no shorts)
• Towel
• Swimming bag

Labelling Clothing

Please ensure that all clothing, footwear and bags are clearly labelled with your child's name.

Iron-on name labels are available to purchase through My Clothing.

Hair

For safety and hygiene reasons, hair that is shoulder length or longer should be tied back while at school.

Jewellery and Watches

For health and safety reasons, jewellery should not be worn in school.

The only exception is small stud earrings, which must be removed for PE lessons.

Children may wear watches; however, smart watches are not permitted and all watches must be removed for PE activities.
